Steps to Healthy Aging: Eating Better and Moving More

EATING BETTER focuses on improving eating habits. Its purpose is to encourage older adults to eat more healthily. MOVING MORE focuses on increasing physical activity by using step counters. By inspiring older adults to walk more, counters can help add steps throughout the day to achieve a step goal, and help older adults recognize the value of physical activity. EATING BETTER AND MOVING MORE is a program of the National Policy and Resource Center on Nutrition and Aging at Florida International University.
